With a background of over 40 years’ experience in the social accountability and sustainability field Effie provides advice and technical support on governance, ethical programmes and sustainability to a number of industry programmes and global organisations.  She has also had extensive experience in supporting Chain of Custody programmes covering both precious metals and diamonds.

In recent years she has been working with the Responsible Jewellery Council providing advisory support on Technical Standards and helping develop their updated Code of Practices, Chain of Custody Standard and associated guidance and toolkits
